4 months later...
So, I finally decided to update this thing. :) We've had a crazy few months and I just haven't gotten around to blogging. We finally sold our contract, and moved to a smaller townhome Thanksgiving week. It was a fast move, but it was over pretty quickly. We had a wonderful Christmas with our little family and then spent a super relaxing week with Dave's family in Logan.
Shortly after returning home from Logan we got some fun news... baby #4 will be joining us in mid-September! We're really excited, but I've been super nauseous and I've been having a hard time moving in the mornings. I'm currently just over 11 weeks... so I'm counting on being done with feeling like crap sometime in the next 3 weeks or so... hopefully less.
At the end of January, I was able to help Jami during her labor and my girls finally got their first cousin, and I'm finally an Aunt! Baby Addison was born January 31st at 12:25pm, and weighed 7lbs1oz. Jami had a long, difficult labor, but she did awesome!
Now we're just focusing on trying to settle into our new place a bit more. The older girls are mostly potty-trained, though they often have difficulty remembering to go on their own. We're also working on night-time issues.
Christine just started signing back to us this past week (finally). She's been responding to signs when we sign to her, and she obviously understands when we talk to her.. but she just hasn't made an effort to sign back to us... until now. She started signing milk and more, and now she folds her arms during prayer, and just today she signed potty to me... and was very excited about it. I think it's really time to start signing everything to her, since she seems to be able to pick up everything pretty quick right now.
Dave started school in January, and was having a really hard time for a while. He seems to be adjusting pretty well at this point, and just passed mid-terms. I know he's got another project or two that he's concerned about during the rest of semester, but he's almost done with the first semester of grad school!
I've been working on as many of my 101/1001 goals as possible... but since we made the decision to go back to school... several of my goals became unrealistic, so I obviously won't get them done (like buying a house sometime before next April, or paying off our student loans). I'm still trying to get as many of them done as I can, and I'll probably be starting another 101/1001 list next April or May, after the first one finishes.
