Craftin' & Cruisin'

I just realized that a lot of the things I post on Facebook about my family, I should be posting on here instead. Then I would keep up a bit better, and I could find what I post easier. 

So, here's stuff from today:

Craftin'

This afternoon K showed me an empty box and a bunch of colored papers. She explained that she wanted to make a "scene" in the box hanging the little origami creatures she folded earlier today. 

Me: "Oh, you want to make a diorama." 
K: "No, I want to make a 3D model."Me: "Exactly."

K wants me to explain the creatures. On top is a seal, hiding in the back is an angelfish, on the right is a sea turtle, and diving down on the left is a snake trying to catch "the rare, underwater grasshopper."

And the seal is on the "sand", and the water gets darker (and more purple) as it gets deeper.

PS. Apparently, I forgot to mention the shark on the back left.

Cruisin'

B is SO close to walking. He just won't do it unsupported yet. But he does stand in the middle of a room, and he's very sturdy. He enjoys walking when holding someone's hand, and he recently discovered that he can push things around and walk too. Of course, we don't have any of those push-along toys, but he makes do.
