Merry Christmas (okay, so I'm a little late...)

So, for Christmas for the grandparents we made a scrapbook of 2009 and had it published... for the rest of you, you can see our creation here.

Enjoy!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That book looks AMAZING!!!! I thought about doing something like that this past year, but never ended up doing it. Did it cost a bunch? I LOVE the Halloween pic-when I saw "thing 1 and thing 2" I DIED laughing! ADORABLE! What a great idea-I hope you got one for yourselves too. What a great keepsake!

Thanks! Actually, we didn't get one for ourselves for 2 reasons... first, they were a bit more spendy than I wanted... and second, I want to make another one with way more pictures in it... we had over 1000 pictures from 2009, and I had to narrow it down to only 150 for that book!

Also... it was super easy... I did the whole thing in about a week, and I only worked on it in the evenings... usually with one of the twins asleep on my lap. :)

How/where do you do one of those? I so want to do one. I have no talent whatsoever with paper-crafting and abhor the thought of trying to do a real scrapbook. I've been dying to try a digital one to have printed up, but am too afraid of the prices, but after seeing that I have to know more! I loved it!

I did this one with mpix.com and downloaded their tool. It was really, really easy. Unfortunately, the prices were a little more than I hoped for (but they turned out really good!), so next time I'm going to try blurb.com and use their booksmart program. My sister recommended blurb, and their prices seem a bit more reasonable, and you can add WAY more pages. But, I have no idea how their program works because I haven't played around with it yet, so I don't know if it'll be as easy. :)
