Once upon a time, a Princess and a Frog Prince fell in love.
They were married in a beautiful castle in The Wooded Hills for Time and All Eternity.
The first Tadpole Princess joined their family only 2 short years later,
and was very quickly followed by two more Tadpole Princesses & Twin Tadpole Princes.

Any day now...

So, as of today, I am 36 weeks and 5 days pregnant. As of my last check-up (last Wednesday), I'm 4cm, 50% effaced, with a VERY soft and VERY anterior cervix (right up front). So, basically, I have no idea why labor hasn't started yet. I'm feeling like a ticking time bomb... but the timer is missing so I have no idea when things are going to start. Also, during my last two births I went from 5cm to baby in about an hour... so this could be interesting. :)

On Friday (two days ago), I asked K if it would be okay for the boys to come "tonight or tomorrow." She said, "How about Sunday?" Well... Sunday is here... so far, absolutely nothing has happened... then again, I didn't have any contractions with D until 3:30pm, and she was born just before 11pm... and my labor with C was only 2 1/2 hours, and it's only 2:30pm right now... so I guess we still have plenty of time for these boys to come today. I'm just getting anxious and bored.

I was nesting like crazy yesterday. I made up a long list of tasks for me, and another long list for Dave... and we both finished them!! Our house has been scrubbed & vacuumed... laundry is done and everything is folded and put away except for one load of towels. I finished my before-baby sewing projects, and we installed the boys' carseats. Now the waiting begins...

The tough part is that even though I seem to be progressing already, it could still be another week or two. Based on *MY* dates, each of my girls came around 39weeks... and even though I'm carrying twins this time and there's a greater chance that they'll come early... it's not guaranteed... they could decide to wait until September. :P

So, for those of you who read this... don't worry, I will let you know when the babies come. You don't need to call me or email me or text me... if I haven't called you, or texted you, or emailed you, or posted here... the babies are not here yet. Trust me... I'm just as anxious as you are.
